Eye Consultants, a state-of-the-art eye care centre, officially launched at Dubai Healthcare City

Eye Consultants, a highly specialised centre promoting excellence in eye care, was officially opened today by leading ophthalmologist Dr Ahmed El Khashab and senior Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) management at a ribbon cutting ceremony. The centre offers advanced eye-care technology and equipment, and plays host to experienced staff, including five world-class Ophthalmologists.

Eye Consultants provides the highest quality services to patients and is committed to research and education in the field of eye care.The centre features a fully equipped paediatric clinic, providing check-ups, treatment and squint management exclusively for children. The centre also offers a dedicated clinic for diabetic patients, proving care for all problems associated with the prolific metabolic disease, including diabetic retinopathy. Eye Consultants also provides a Low Vision Aid centre, a unique service offering a variety of visual solutions and treatments for visually handicapped patients.

The clinic will use the most recent Vitrectomy, Phaco, Lasik and Ultralasik machinery to ensure the delivery of world-class patient care. It is equipped with technology offering highly-specialised treatments such as Time Domain OCT, FFA, ICG, Visual Perimetry, Corneal Topolizer, and Ultrasonography. The centre also plays host to a Cosmetic Clinic for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of all eyelid and eyebrow deformities, and is open to patients of all ages.
