DHCC updates on COVID-19

Message from CEO

Dear Valued Member of the DHCC Community,

Your health, safety, and wellbeing are paramount in these challenging times. We must work together as the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) Community to promote a culture of precaution, awareness and empowerment.

We, at Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), are sincerely grateful to each and every frontline healthcare professional - nurses, doctors, and allied staff in the free zone for putting our wellbeing before their own. We are grateful to our service providers, and facilities and hospitality staff who share our responsibility to contain the spread of COVID-19.

In the past few weeks, the UAE has ramped up national efforts to combat the pandemic. We are working with all relevant authorities to support measures towards public safety and keep the DHCC Community informed and empowered.

To facilitate increased healthcare access in this current phase, we have eased certain requirements for hospitals, clinics, and licensed healthcare professionals by permitting additional services such as working in multiple facilities, teleconsultation, and home healthcare. We now also accept license renewal for healthcare professionals based on online Basic Life Support training.

From the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) viewpoint, we have issued several guidelines and advisories to assist partners in both DHCC-owned as well as investor buildings - to put in place plans for infection control and emergency preparedness.

I personally invite all members of the Community to visit this section of our website where you will find regular updates along with awareness resources.

Together, let us stay healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Jamal Abdulsalam
