Dear Business Partners and Colleagues,

Welcome to the third edition of the DHCC newsletter for 2013.

During the last quarter, we were honoured to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan with the “DHCC Suhoor”. The event provided our Business Partners from across the DHCC community with a unique and enjoyable networking platform. The last few months also saw DHCC welcome a number of high level delegations and engaging in discussions on potential future collaborations.

DHCC has continued to demonstrate its commitment to raising public awareness of numerous conditions that affect people’s lives on a daily basis. In June, we organized a highly successful blood donation drive in collaboration with the Thalassemia Centre; individuals from across our community generously donated blood for this worthy cause.

Education is a top priority for us and throughout the summer months we continued to host a number of medical education programmes and provided a number of platforms for the continued development of specialized healthcare professionals through meetings, collaborations and medical education workshops. This included the signing of a MoU with Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, to demonstrate a commitment to furthering education within the field of ophthalmology.

Best regards,

Marwan Abedin
CEO of Dubai Healthcare City
