Message from the Executive Team

Dear colleagues and business partners,

The case success of a 23-year-old whose sight was restored after suffering a high-impact collision or the success of a 22-year-old woman with hearing implants who is well on her way to pursue higher education are but a few life-affirming stories of people who have benefited from the care at Dubai Healthcare City.

Stories of Nada and Ali (read about them in the Community News section) chronicle the leaps in medical innovation and just as effectively prove the inherent influence of education and healthcare.

By the time we turn into the last quarter of 2015, a UAE delegation would have discussed national efforts towards enabling access to both high quality education and healthcare at the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Summit in New York.

The UAE would have illustrated its contribution to the development of global strategy towards the UN’s Millennium Development Goals and the targets laid out in the Sustainable Development Plan 2030, in which access to clean energy, the provision of food, education, and healthcare, sustainable economic growth, and protection of the environment are seen as priority issues by the leadership.

Dubai Healthcare City shares some of these priority areas.

Case in point: our operational review for the first half of 2015 shows progress across the range of our activities. It records significant strides in medical education and growth in healthcare. Undoubtedly, the results give us a strong position and the confidence to deliver more throughout the year.

We will – with your invaluable support.
