Message from the Executive Team

Dear colleagues and business partners,

Economic diversity. These two words will not move from the UAE’s goalpost in the long term.
In the years ahead, a range of projects and initiatives will contribute to the growth of non-oil economic sectors. Industries in the country will leverage their skills without any timeout.
Healthcare is one such industry.
Only recently – mid June, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai assured citizens and expatriates in a note about the state of the UAE’s economy. His Highness emphasized, “We are continuing to work to achieve better standards of living for our people, providing the best environment for our investors, and creating the best destination for our visitors.”
At the half-year mark, Dubai Healthcare City is honored to be entrusted with the responsibility to help improve the lives of workers by providing dental screening and treatment under the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Oral Hygiene Initiative.
DHCC’s medical specialists are talking about successful patient cases. DHCC’s first university, the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, is preparing for admissions to its second college, the College of Medicine.
Q2 has seen clinical openings; networking events; participation at leading industry platforms such as Careers UAE and Arabian Travel Market (ATM); and public health screenings and activities for global observances such as Autism Awareness Day, World Health Day, World No Tobacco Day and World Environment Day. Q2 has also been active with more than 100 continuing medical education events with close to 7,000 attendees.
From a regulatory perspective, the new resolution of the Health Insurance Law within Dubai Healthcare City will ensure a fair, transparent and an equitable process of governance.
These efforts are a sign of progress. As are a testament to our combined drive to achieve our vision.
So better standards of living? Best environment for investors? Creating the best destination for our visitors? To these promises, Dubai Healthcare City too is committed, and we can deliver on these with your continued support.

Ramadan Kareem!
