Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) was launched in 2002 by the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to meet the demand for high-quality, patient-centred healthcare. Today, DHCC is home to two hospitals, over 90 outpatient medical centres and diagnostic laboratories with over 1,700 licensed professionals occupying 4.1 million square feet in the heart of Dubai.
DHCC combines the leading expertise of medical institutions and pre-eminent healthcare providers to deliver the A-Z of medical services.
Patient feedback
Patient care is at the forefront of all DHCC-based healthcare providers. The annual DHCC patient satisfaction survey is an important indicator of how we are doing and consistently shows high patient satisfaction levels. The last survey, conducted by AC Nielsen, an independent external consultant, showed a patient satisfaction level of 89. AC Nielsen states that the target for High Customer Satisfaction is an index of 70. The score of 89 therefore indicates that DHCC is exceeding its objective of achieving high patient satisfaction.
Building the future of healthcare
In order to be at the forefront of healthcare in the region and internationally, DHCC is constantly expanding to add new services and expertise to its offer. We have grown in a short space of time into a major medical community and have greater plans to deliver health and wellness services that compete on an international scale. Our approach is simple, to attract the best healthcare providers, deliver the best service and lead best practice.
