CEOKhalid Al Malik – CEO Tatweer Dubai. Khalid Al Malik is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tatweer, a post he has held since January 2007. His impressive experience spans 18 years in both the governmental and private sectors.

Al Malik’s tenure at Tatweer began in 2003 when he joined the Dubai Development and Investment Authority, Tatweer’s predecessor, as the Director of Operations. During this time, he spearheaded several key initiatives, such as the Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) committee, the Dubai Government Excellence Program, and the company’s culture vehicle Al Ruwad.

He was then promoted to the CEO of Dubai Industrial City, one of Tatweer’s entities with the vision of catalyzing the growth and expansion of the industrial sector in Dubai. He was then appointed as the Senior Vice President of Industry and Knowledge to lead the development of both Dubai Industrial City and Moutamarat, the first pan-Arab initiative for creating business knowledge, before taking the reigns as the CEO of Tatweer.

Al Malik took the first step of his career in 1990, when he joined the IT division of the prestigious UAE Armed Forces, and he holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in e-commerce.

A keen sportsman, he was elected to be the General Manager of the Emirates Motor Sports Federation to revive and promote the motor sport culture in the UAE. In just two years’ time, he increased the Federation’s membership by 100%, in addition to revamping the Federation’s marketing activities.

CEO Dr Ayesha Mohammed Abdullah - Senior Vice President of DHCC. Ayesha Mohammed Abdullah is Senior Vice President of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC). Ayesha is an 18-year veteran of the healthcare and engineering industries.

Dr. Ayesha Abdullah plays a key role in realising DHCC’S strategic objectives. She is responsible for strategic planning and operations, development of education and research vision, development of new businesses, and managing strategic partners such as Harvard Medical International (HMI), Harvard Medical School (HMS), and Moorefield’s among others.

In her previous position as Chief Officer at the Center for Healthcare Planning and Quality (CPQ), she was instrumental in building CPQ into a premier quality regulatory body.

Ayesha’s core competencies include strategic healthcare planning, project management, managing multi-disciplinary teams, strong technical competency, project design, and customer service.

Ayesha holds a Bachelors of Science, Biomedical and Electrical Engineering degree from USA, an MBA with a Finance focus and a PhD, MPhil in Strategy Management/Planning Studies from UK.

 
COOKenneth Bruce MacPherson - Vice President of Operations. As the VP of Operations of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), Kenneth Macpherson is responsible for finance, information technology, and project development, as well as legal, administrative and procurement aspects of the world’s only integrated healthcare free zone.

A British national, Macpherson brings with him a wealth of industry experience to DHCC. With an association of more than 23 years in finance and general management gained through a results oriented career graph, he has held several key positions in high profile companies in the UAE and the UK.

Prior to joining DHCC, Macpherson was Executive Finance Director at Combined Diving and Inspection Services in Sharjah for over four years.

Earlier, as Group General Manager and Group Finance Advisor of Al Nabooda General Enterprises for more than seven years, he offered his industry expertise to one of the oldest family organizations in Dubai.

Macpherson has also served as Financial Controller in the Sub Sea Group of Companies, a division of the US Energy conglomerate MW Kellog in the UK and Sharjah.

Holder of the Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Aberdeen College in Scotland, he is an Associate Member and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
