Welcome to the Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education Dubai.

Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education Dubai at DHCC is a unique development in the Gulf Region. Boston University is the first to bring education in dental specialties to the region using United States standards. The institute will offer the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) by a team of specialized faculty trained from the US. The programs will combine a balance of extensive clinical experience with a strong academic program with an emphasis on original research.  All of the faculty are specialists in their field and have trained in their specialty in the United States, many of them at Boston University. Additionally, the faculty members have joint appointments at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. In addition to the full-time faculty, senior faculty members from Boston University, generally departmental Chairs and program directors, will visit the Institute periodically to lecture and give clinical demonstrations.

The institute is complemented by the Boston University Dental Health Center Dubai. The center, a 20,000 sq. feet state-of-the-art facility, has globally renowned dental professionals providing comprehensive care to patients utilizing modern techniques and equipment, as well as a strong continuing dental education (CDE) program. Emerging as the regional hub for medical excellence in education, research and patient care, the center’s mandate entails raising the standards of dental care in the region through endorsing the vision of one of the world’s oldest private research and teaching institutions.
